• Health & safety, training, accreditation
Landline Limited is CITB Registered. The company complies with the Construction Design & Management Regulations and all operational personnel are qualified to Level 1 of the TWI accreditation scheme and are CSCS card holders. The company has been established for more than 20 years and is a member of the BGA, BALI and the BAGCC.

• Water features
Landline has extensive experience in the geomembrane lining and construction of specialist water features. The company has worked for most of the principal architectural practices including Richard Rogers, Ove Arup, BDP, Charles Funke, Atkins, Gillespie and Derek Lovejoy. Landline can take on all elements of the lining or construction work and can advise on all aspects of the water feature design that impact directly on the geomembrane and its selection process. Such areas include: weirs, waterfalls and cascades; stone, brick, timber or concrete edging; timber bridges, jetties or walkways; cobble and shingle beach areas; island constructions in rock or earth; deep water pools and planting shelves; and backfill materials and methods of placement.
Alkorplan 1.2mm is used extensively in prestigious waterscapes and particularly those involving complex edge treatment, above membrane constructions or where settlement or differential movement may be anticipated.
Landline can provide water feature system designs to maintain water clarity and to curtail the growth of algae.

• Canals
Landline has performed extensive canal work for British Waterways as part of their ongoing restoration and refurbishment programme. Lining work has to be performed during arduous winter months in preparation for spring re-opening. Access is limited and plant and material movements, especially where large, are very difficult. Geomembrane installation often has to be performed in conditions of low temperature and high precipitation. Landline has been able to provide a geomembrane containment solution to meet British Waterways' stringent demands and has helped to secure sections of the network for future generations to enjoy.

Landline operate a fully documented quality system. Project management, monitoring, inspection and testing is provided in compliance with the contract Health & Safety plan. Experienced full time, trained construction and installation crews work using the latest plant and welding equipment to complete projects to schedule and budget.
