Potable Water
Landline Ltd, established for 20 years, is experienced in working
with water authorities and utilities companies involved in potable
water supply. The company specialises in service reservoir
refurbishment and enhancement, and also designs, manufactures
and installs reservoir baffle curtains and floating covers.
Landline works on a design and build, partnering or preferred
contractor basis, or on a term, framework or single contract
basis. The company offers single source responsibility, and is able
to provide insurance-backed warranties and term maintenance
agreements on much of its work. Landline is CITB registered.
• Reservoir internal lining
Landline undertakes full reservoir internal tank refurbishment to
include all concrete cleaning, preparation and crack repair using
cementitious and epoxy mortars, together with lining in sprayapplied
DWI approved polyurethane. Stainless steel fabrication
and replacement is also undertaken.
• Reservoir roof lining
Landline provides waterproofing systems to suit specific
applications. Systems are supplied and installed as loose laid or
fully bonded geomembranes, or as spray- or float-coated
elastomers. Landline also undertakes roof condition surveys,
concrete crack repair, perimeter and lateral drainage works and
backfill placement. Water testing and leak detection surveys can
be performed on the completed waterproofing works.
• Baffle curtain uses
Baffle curtains are a cost-effective method of controlling water
movement in service reservoirs, contact tanks and open raw
water storage reservoirs.
Baffle curtains increase reservoir retention time, assist flow
segregation, enhance sediment drop-out, and eliminate surface
water skimming and stagnation. Additionally, they improve
chemical mixing and enable reduced chlorination.
• Floating cover uses
Floating covers eliminate algae growth and contamination from
airborne pollutants. They reduce evaporation losses and assist in
temperature stabilisation. Covers maybe modular or may fully encapsulate the upper
surface of the reservoir by being mechanically fixed and sealed
around the perimeter. They can be designed to cater for
fluctuating water levels, rainwater drainage, and routine access.

Product Specifications
• Reservoir internal lining
Specification elastomeric: DWI Approved Polyurethane spray coating.
• Reservoir roof lining
Specification geomembrane: DWI Approved Reinforced Polypropylene
Specification elastomeric: DWI Approved Polyurethane coating
• Baffle curtains
Baffle curtains are manufactured from DWI Approved Reinforced Polypropylene. Curtains are manufactured off site with all geomembrane welding and testing being performed in factory controlled conditions. The use of prefabricated curtains ensures the highest build quality and the minimum reservoir downtime during installation.
• Floating covers
Floating covers are manufactured from DWI Approved Reinforced Polypropylene. The material offers high dimensional stability, flexibility and mechanical strength characteristics enabling the most stringent design criteria to be met. Manufacture is undertaken off site with all dimensioning, panel welding, reinforcements, and stabilisation cell components produced in factory controlled conditions.
Sitework
Experienced full time field crews perform all reservoir waterproofing and baffle curtain and floating cover installation work. All personnel are CSCS card holders, TWI welding certified, trained to work in confined spaces, and possess medical certification for working in a potable water environment.
